Institutes of Directors having similar objectives and programmes as those of the MIoD are in existence in various countries around the world. Membership of the MIoD, however, does not confer reciprocity with any other kindred bodies and vice versa. 

Good relationships already exist between the MIoD and similar institutes in other countries and we will be working towards strengthening these ties.

Institute of Directors Southern Africa

Members of the MIOD are now eligible to attend functions and events of the Institute of Directors in South Africa (IODSA) and vice versa. MIOD and IODSA members will need a letter from their respective Institute confirming their membership details and eligibility in order to benefit from members rates.
